I am renovating my first home and I am looking for ideas. I Google-d in both Malay & English and I realized something.

Most Malay beautiful houses I have visited/Google-d consists of
i) Ikea products
ii) Kaison products
iii) Hipster

Their house would be minimalist style or too crowded style.

Meanwhile makciks would go with darker color.

Also,I found that Chinese likes Industrial design(this one I'm not too sure)

Anything else?
