QUOTE(decavalera @ Feb 17 2018, 08:01 AM) Guys, is the usb-c cable is special or the same only with other usb cable, in term of data transfer & power charging capability. If they’re just the same, can i safely says that if i have the apple 29W usb-c power adapter, it will still deliver the same performance either if i use either:- 1)usb-c to lightning cable OR 2)usb-c to usb adapter & connect with the normal usb to lightning cable If i bought the usb-c to a multiport usb-a, will the power be reduce to charge multiple iphones compare to charge a single iphone as in point no 2 above? Theoretically there should be some energy loss when you use an adapter of some sort so option 1 of using the USB C to lightning cable should be faster, but I’m not sure by how much.

QUOTE(blackmarket @ Feb 17 2018, 10:05 AM) On top of that, the usbC to lightning cable from apply is noticeably thicker. Hence I believe it is to ensure higher voltage deliver and safety purpose Ya, good point

QUOTE(decavalera @ Feb 17 2018, 10:59 AM) Bro, i was thinking, what if we just buy this PA-Y11 & instead buying the rm120 apple cable, use the usb-c to usb adapter (and able to reuse all the old usb-lightning cables). Rather than use the other USB-a charging port. Nevermind, just now receive feedback from Aukey as below:- “For iPhone X u must use the Apple Original MFI USB C to Lightning cable only can fast charge, other then this cable that is no any way to fast charge iPhone X” Which also means the rm120 cable is different too, not only the usb-c male connector. Ya, I think the only fast charge option for iPhone X is the USB C to Lightning cable.

QUOTE(meltan @ Feb 23 2018, 09:05 AM) I was previously using the traditional AUX version. I would say good sound overall and excellent noise cancellation. Thanks for the review bro. Just saw this at Lazada for 20% less and pulled the trigger. Been looking for a good wired earphones with lightning connector. Hope it doesn't disappoint! QUOTE(nickelkadmium @ Feb 23 2018, 09:09 AM) Yaa saw this at machines klcc, tempted to buy, but then i just bought another apple lightning EarPods and save some money haha Here's the Lazada link in case you're interested bro. I'll give a brief review after I get mine, though I must confess I plan to use it more for conference calls and not so much for music https://www.lazada.com.my/urbeats3-earphone....419f7372pasRKK

So it’s here. The Urbeats3 with Lightning Connector. Decent levels of bass, just as you would come to expect from a pair of Beats earphones.
It doesn’t have active NC, but the isolation is pretty good if the ambient noise is not too loud. Love the extras it came with.
Also included is a nice soft carry case, though I’d prefer a hard one
Edit: It’s currently still MYR 303.90 on Lazada at time of writing. This post has been edited by attw: Mar 1 2018, 08:25 PM

QUOTE(Mackiddo @ Mar 3 2018, 09:32 AM) review is not so favourable, pretty flat out. Beats could have done more. wait till u listen with 1MORE Triple Drivers, a different class all together. Ya, couple of days into it, and comparing it with my older Jays Three, I agree. It could be better. Anyways, my main purpose was to use it for taking hour long or more conference calls on my phone so can’t really complain. Any link for the 1MORE you mentioned?

So I tried a cheaper USB C PD charger with the ori USB C to lightning cable and it took 65 minutes to charge my iPhone X from 60% to 100% last night. Took me about 20 minutes more using the lightning cable with the 10W iPad adapter.

QUOTE(xtrasher_kingx @ Mar 8 2018, 02:21 PM) hello any recommendation for wireless car charger? I’m eyeing this one but it’s pretty pricey in Malaysia. Over 300 bucks. https://sg.carousell.com/p/energea-wimount-...anty-134570382/

QUOTE(mizymora @ Mar 9 2018, 04:32 PM) can u check the % of battery increment after 30minutes from 0~10%. From 60% cannot check the optimum fast chargimg rate as the fast charging will cut-off after 80%. Btw what brand u use for the PD adapter? Yeah, I think the fast charging benefit isn’t really there once the battery level hits 60% and above. Using cheapo China brand called ugreen. It’s pretty good so far

QUOTE(mizymora @ Mar 9 2018, 05:33 PM) is it become hot while charging?? heard that it easily become so hot while fast charge Yesterday I plugged the charger in when the phone was left with 25% and it hit 90% in an hour, which was fast! But the last 10% took almost half an hour Didn’t notice the phone temperature though, I’ll check again tonight and feedback here.

QUOTE(M4A1 @ Mar 12 2018, 04:25 PM) just want to try it out? never own a wireless headset? the earbud it comfortable, had always use apple earset after my research , it seems airpod battery last longer? my initial compare is airpods vs samsung gear x but gear x battery not so good leh function > looks I don't know, I prefer the traditional wireless headsets with where the left earpiece is connected to the right instead of these dua biji options, hehe. Keep thinking I'll misplace one biji eventually. QUOTE(DoDoes @ Mar 12 2018, 04:27 PM) RM 189 have bamboo and leather option. Kevlar abit expansive. Kevlar? As in the bullet-proof material? Now why would anyone need such a case?

QUOTE(DoDoes @ Mar 13 2018, 03:52 PM) What the best option usb-c to lightning fast charging support cable except Original Apple RM119? Provide link if have thank you in advance. There’s very few third party USB C to lightning out there so it’s probably worth investing in the original one.
