That day i tried with gogo2 PC, and manage to get 3.0GHz using default voltage (i think only 1.275V). Running 9x333MHz should b alrite i think.

haiz, my mobo revision not same. wat rev is kevyeoh one? mine is 1.0. cannot OC more than 340GHz FSB. so terrible.

mine is rev 3.3

i think no problem running 3Ghz @ 1.35V and this should be the stock voltage leh... cannot be lower... your 1.275V is including vdroop already is it?

i'm running 400Mhz very stable now... maybe it's not the rev la...what bios you using?
if you're using DS3 motherboard, try using F9 bios or F10 which i'm using right now...

Yes, you are right. The voltage ID is 2Ah by default, which means 1.35V. The max supported ID translates to 1.60V. gogo2, you can pump up to 1.60V safely

My BIOS is F10. According to Gigabyte website, only rev3.3 can support 333MHz fsb. Mine is officially 266MHz. So its logically valid to think that your rev3.3 can OC more than mine

Ok, I'll pump to 1.6 and see whether it can go to 3.5GHz

Yesterday i have try oc it to 3.9Ghz@1.65v, anything look just fine untill get into the windows startup, then it shutdown itself n my mobo(Tforce 965PT) spoil, so i have to wait my mobo rma back n try it again. Anyway just want to let other QX6700 users, it should be no problem to oc to 4Ghz.

1.65v on air cooling? Thats sure would spoil ur mobo, I still waiting for next quarter to get Q66 or Q64. If possible for 400FSB on my QuadGT i'll get Q64 or else I just go for Q66. But looks like Biostar 965PT support Quad Core? Anyway when u oc to 3.9GHz what number of multiplier did u used?

Dunno, last time i try my E6600ES @3.8Ghz@1.70v without any problem, maybe my mobo already run out of time...

Your proc did not burn right? Try on some other mobo and post some result if it does not burden u. How long ur mobo gonna RMA?

Yup, dint burn. I think the RMA will take another 1-2 week.
Yup, maybe rm168 PSU is not really good for high oc.

It seems that review site on the latest P35 mobo especially from VR-Zone really promising when oc quad core. Its Gigabyte again. Anyone here had done ocing with this mobo? Especially quad core.

Just air cooling, i m only try it on SuperPi and 3dmark only... i wont take it on 24/7.. actually i have try set it @1.8v b4...
