I've always wondered why no PVC figure of Arcuied in her princess gown was ever made. SHe's nice and all in the standard white turtleneck but she looks amazing in that gown. If they made a base with the throne and chains it would be so hot.

If they release saber for the fraulein range it'll have to be a non-armored saber, otherwise its just silly business practice. Me, I want Asuka. Imagine all the *ahem* things you can do with Rei and Asuka together.

Probably not as hot as Haruhi, Mikuru and Yuki. Asakura Ryoko didn't sell out that fast really, I doubt Tsuruya will as well. Keeping my fingers crossed anyway. If you get her in I'll definitely pick up mine from you.

If Max Fact. releases the whole lot of Kanon girls I'm gonna be a very very poor man come 2008. I'm holding back on Ayu because I tend to want the whole series if I get one, and if they don't release them all then its pointless for me. I call it the pokemon spirit.

I thank God that I don't collect nendroids. Reading thru the list at HD, GSC loves its nendroid range.

Notables for me:

Kenji showed me the 1/6 Shirunai Mai today... she's huge, really of epic proportions. The sculpt is quite simple and the face isn't really odd compared to pictures. Just too expensive thats all.

Happily preordered Al Agif and Another Blood. Go go loliranger.

My August purchase just arrived! In 51 pieces! Gotta admit resin casting (even if its just a recast) carry an amazing amount of detail compared to pvc.

Started work on my kit. Thanks to the very good casting from e2046, cleaning up was a breeze. Well, except for Suiseiseki's hair.


90% cleaned up Suiseiseki. Left over tabs and seam line are gone, so I test fitted her head and torso/skirt part. Again thanks to the good casting it fitted pretty well, so I won't have to do alot of puttying. BTW Mikuru chan is in the background, and no the kit isn't that big, its just perspective. Its actually about 5cm taller then Mikuru.


Souseiseki. She's still not sanded down so there's a huge tab on top of her head. It used to be bigger but I cut it down with my hobby knife. I also cut my thumb. Yay. I wish I had a dremel.


Suiseiseki's hair. This was the most horrible part of cleaning up... all the twist and turns, plus the tabs marred some details (esp. the grooves). Spent 2 hours carving and sanding the hair, and its still full of imperfections. I can't even begin to imagine the ordeal I'll be having when I pin and set up the entire block of hair.

A word on e2046: They didn't disappoint. I didn't expect such quality from a recast. If anyone of you want to try out resin kits you can safely order from them.

As for boku desu, not much to update since I'm still sanding it. Worked on the cross that serves as a backgroud, had to do alot of work cos it had "From Peach Pit bla bla bla" printed 5 times on it, so I had to chip it off then sand it using 1800, 400, then 1000. Also had to repair the lace work on boku's shirt that was completely gone due to the presence of flash. Will probably dunk them into detergent tonight and let them soak for a day to get rid of the mold releasing agent.

Which reminds me, anyone knows where to get clear casting resin?

I wonder... I was checking it every hour or so and when I saw it sometime early this morning (6am) it was already gone.

Oh! Misunderstood. If she has arrived by then sure, why not. If my rozen maiden twins are finished by then then what I bring may be subjected to those two, transportation for resin kits aren't as simple as PVC, since they are more fragile. This kit especially what with suiseiseki's hair in really thin strands.

Been so busy lately that I haven't had much time to post nor work on my kit. They've been pinned tho!

Thats where the legs will join the pants. I'm using 1.3mm garden wires, hope its strong enough to hold up the figures. I was tempted to get brass rods/nails but some parts of the kit just isn't wide enough to fit such thick rods in. All in all I've pinned nearly every connection, thats around 4 hours of measuring and drilling and cutting wires to fit. My hands were sore for two days after that. If I had my dremel and tools from back home this would be so much easier.
