CPU Name Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Motherboard Model Asus P5N-E SLI
Memory (RAM) Total Size 4096 MB
Type Single Channel (64 bit) DDR2-SDRAM
GPU Type Nvidia GTX 750
Storage (HDD/SSD)
Model #1 Western Digital WDC WD50 00AAKS-00V1A 500 GB
Windows Version Microsoft Windows 10 (10.0) Professional 64-bit
My Pc specs are above, should be able to run well dota 2 now? I target medium setting and 50+fps will do, need any upgrades on my pc?

It should rune fine, but in the future you might need to upgrade your cpu and ram. For now, quad core and gtx 750 is still playable. Dota is gpu intensive than cpu

many years back. people said dota is not demanding gpu games.. now.. 1050ti also cant run max fps... 120 for full setting... 960, no need say.. 4-~50fps for 60hz max fps.. laugh.gif

Since Dota migrated to Source 2 Engine during Reborn update. My laptop run average 70 fps on low to medium setting with all advance settings off

thanks for the reply, found out seems my mobo only support PCIE Version 1.1, which is bottleneck for GPU performance bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

yeah, your mobo should be around 10 years old though, its time to change. My family's shared pc was a 10 years old Q9950 cpu and P5Q mobo + GT430, but it spoilt a year or 2 ago

looking forward to buy a pc or build one if the parts are cheap enough after graduation, aiming for i5-8400 or 9th gen

dota is more cpu-intensive at the moment.

well its GPU intensive for me, maybe because my GPU bottleneck my CPU. CPU usage never above 20% while GPU 100%
