When should we perform the title transfer after paying off the housing loan (fully settled). Should we do this together when strata title is out? However there is no news when it will be. Shall we do the title transfer first? Someone informed me that these two are separate things and will not save any cost if I do them together.
Please advise if u have any experience on this. The mentioned prop is a service apartment.

For services apartment you need to wait for title to be gazetted from land office first which will be done by the developer. There a new rule stated that once the projects are complete, the developer will do the perfection for the owner.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

It is totally different with redemption of the property after you have fully settled the loan. pls get a lawyer to do the perfection of transfer to avoid any unnecessary trouble in the future, which may include the developer gone wound up, and liquidator comes in. then by that time u may have to plenty extra more to get the title transfer to you. if you need a lawyer, can pm me . we do provide this kind of service and can help you.

Sorry I mean the deed reassignment and transfer after loan is settled. Shall I wait till the strata is out and do it together or I can do the former first since doing both together will not save me any cost?
