1. Preferred brand : Anything good quality
2. Budget : 6.5, max 7k on the do
3. Usage : Programming (Web Dev/Game Dev), Editing video / photo, Media consumption, University, Very light gaming (Stardew valley or I work on 3D development my self)
4. Screen Size : IPS 13" and above (touch screen optional / I'm the kind of person who likes the laptop clean so its not needed at all.)
5. video card : as long as can support the mentioned usage.
6. dvd\cd tray: no need
7. RAM : at least 8GB
8. Processor :8th coffee lake
9.ROM: SSD

I'm a uni student, so need something for that along with the other use cases above. Nice keyboard feel for programming, good build quality. Looking for something I can go out and get soon, my current laptop died after a few years. My laptop is what I do everything on from watching a movie to writing a business report to playing around with 3D modeling. So its a big thing I need to pick out in a day or two. I have my eye on the New XPS 13. Thanks in advance smile.gif

XPS 13 is a good choice, however I suggest you to wait for XPS 15 refresh with CFL-H CPU.

Also consider Thinkpad T480:
i7 8550U, MX150, 8GB RAM (4+4 or single 8), 256GB PCIe SSD, backlit keyboard, W10 Home, 24+72Wh battery, IPS (many options), 3yr warranty. Choose the config you want

Hmm, Only problem is I need to go out and buy one today or tomorrow. Any recommendations for shops to go to buy the new XPS 13 or the thibkpad?
