QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Apr 15 2018, 08:44 PM) Photoshop needs a good display. If you need a laptop that has good cooling and can run GTA 5 high settings, Dell 7577 or Lenovo Y520, however they only have entry level IPS panel. You may want to bump up your budget or, sacrifice video settings in games. I am not using photoshop for professional purpose, as long as it is able to run the design software without heavy lagging then it is fine for me. Is there any other option for you to recommend? or else I will consider the Dell and Lenovo that you just suggested, thanks!

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Apr 21 2018, 05:27 AM) You cannot upgrade GPU in most laptops. Is battery life important to you? Battery life not so important... As long as the budget laptop can run most design software and app development software like phonegap, photoshop, flash animation without heavy lag then is ok for me. Thanks for suggestion.

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Apr 21 2018, 10:13 AM) Lenovo Ideapad 320s 14 - i5-8250U, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 920MX GDDR5, entry level IPS, 52Wh battery, 1.7kg, good build quality, good input devices. Need RAM and SSD upgrades. Note: 320s 14 is very similar to 520s 14, just different build material (plastic chassis with aluminium brush lid vs more aluminium, result in 0.1kg heavier, still considered good), different GPU selection and lack a fingerprint scanner Thanks for your info, will consider that.
