1. Preferred brand : Asus maybe, nice design
2. Budget : below 3k
3. Usage : general usage. web browsing, streaming. college.
4. Screen Size : 14''

i don't really plan on gaming(maybe light gaming like dota), but is ultrabook good for long term? like asus zenbook UX430U.
i3-7100U,4gb ddr4 2133mhz,128G SATA3 M.2 SSD,40MX 2GB DDR3 VRAM.
or should i go for laptop?

and why is those catalog and video spec different then selling spec biggrin.gif

pavillion 15? looks okay, is the cooler okay? heard that it will overheat easily.

You need a good CPU for streaming like 8250U, however there is only one 'good enough' option:
Lenovo Ideapad 320S 14 - i5-8250U, 4GB, 1TB HDD, 920MX GDDR5
Need RAM and SSD upgrade too.

not even i3 7100 enough for movies?
hows the hp pavilion 15 above mention? or the asus vivobook S15 i5-8250U Processor,940MXGDDR5 2GB

7100U enough for movies. HP Pavilion and Asus Vivobook generally have mediocre build quality and battery life.

thank you, will consider too for the Ideapad 320S

Welcome. Make sure it's the 14 inch model not 13 inch, the 13 inch one has a better display but worse battery life and cooling.

will do smile.gif

most likely going for vivobook for their design and light hmm.gif

or pv 15 for the mx150. hmm.gif

HP Pavilion and Asus Vivobook generally have mediocre build quality and battery life, personally I would not recommend them.

Will keep that in mind and do some research on those laptops.
Thank you very much smile.gif
