Bro want ask you any major difference between Aspire 5 and Lenovo 14 320kb ?
*
320s 14 has bigger battery, IPS panel, slightly better build quality and more portable. Aspire 5 has better GPU. I'll go for 320s 14 if I had to pick.

UX430UA, Envy 13 (no dGPU) and Spin 5 13 are good choices too. Yoga 520 also good but need RAM upgrade. Swift 3 15 also a good budget option but it has 15.6 inch display. Swift 5 has OKish battery life. Check NBC reviews to know more info.

Make sure you get the newer model with 8250U CPU

8.Plan to use up to 4 to 5 years and more if possible (Reliability)

No one can guarantee reliability since it mainly depends on luck. 'True' business laptops like Thinkpad T series have good reliability in general, however they can be expensive.

Yo people of LYN!

Can anyone suggest me a reasonable gaming laptop budget around 3k (+- can add here and there)
*
Wait for more CFL-H options. If you can't wait then Dell 7577 or Lenovo Y520, RAM and SSD upgrades are needed though.

Hai There smile.gif

Need a laptop for a friend of mine.

Do not prefer : ACER

Budget RM3.5K

Requirement : Movies, Minimal editing work, not too heavy to bring around.
No gaming at all.

Battery Life Matters(Not the biggest priorities tho).

Thanksssss!

These options come with my mind, though I may miss out some options:
1. Asus UX430UA with 7100U, 8GB RAM+256GB SSD, good IPS panel, 1.25kg, 50Wh battery
2. Lenovo Ideapad 710s plus with 7200U, 8GB RAM+256GB SSD, good IPS panel, 1.1kg, 46Wh battery (OKish battery life)
3. Lenovo Ideapad 320s 14 with 8250U+920MX, need RAM+SSD upgrades, entry level IPS, 1.7kg, 52Wh battery
4. Lenovo Yoga 520 14 with 7130U, need RAM upgrade, entry level IPS, 1.7kg, 52Wh battery

Is there any particular reason why you want to avoid Acer laptops? They have decent models like Swift 3 15 and Spin 5 13.

How much ya with 8gb ram and SSD and extended warranty?
Add ram won't void the warranty?
*
Nope, just bring it to any authorized Acer reseller and they will do it for you without voiding warranty. Add 4GB 2400MHz RAM and 120/128GB M.2 SATA SSD is around RM420 but I'm not quite sure since prices change often.

Is it possible to find a rm4k laptop with 1050Ti ah?
*
Thunderobot 911 SE (N850HK1). You have to sacrifice in CPU: i5 7300HQ is dated IMO. Keep in mind that this model runs hot so repaste may be needed. Needs undervolting and maybe some heatsink/case modding too. Already have 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD.

Or Dell 7567 if you can find it somewhere (EOL) and can deal with the poor TN panel. Need RAM upgrade.

Or wait for more CFL-H options

All the new cpu are using ddr4 already right?
*
You're referring to system RAM? Some models still using LPDDR3 but most DDR4. Gaming laptops all DDR4 if not mistaken

Welcome. Yeah those days most Acer laptops have issues. Now they have improved a lot but still have some flaws/cons in every models.

Yeah you need to make compromises. Sadly there's no suitable model for you in this price range. There's a Dell Inspiron 7570 with 8250U+940MX (MX130) and good display but mediocre battery life.

Must add RAM and SSD. Otherwise very laggy. Blame Windows 10. You can check my review in LTT forum to see how to tweak the laptop.

Around rm2k.
It's just gonna sit on my bed side.
Don't need battery life or build quality.
*
No need good build quality? Are you serious? What if the laptop dies/have damage within a year?

Anyway, I'll suggest Chuwi stuffs with high quality, high resolution display: Surbook 12.3, Hi12, Lapbook 12.3, Hi13
