Btw..., want to ask you why u choose gtx 1050ti but the 2gb version instead of the 4gb...even mx150 has 2gb...and also why go 144hz panel as the gtx 1050ti cant really push the frame rates that high...,mostly will only stuck at 60 fps...unless it a full gtx 1060 like helios 300...No offense or anything...Just want to hear your opinion...

Really need help please!

1. Budget :  RM 2k - 3k
2. Usage  : Heavy browsing, occasionally need to create VM using VMware on this machine for own testing purpose
3. Requirements : - display size => no preference
                          - battery life => normal lasting (doesnt need to be a deciding factor)
                          - weight => light weighted (because need to carry around frequently)
                          - disk space => ~1TB (doesnt need to be on ssd)
                          - RAM => 8GB (I supposed? Since I need to allocate about half the RAM to VM)
                          - processor => i7 (please don't bash me hahaha. I'm assuming I need i7 jer..please feel free to correct me)

Hi Sifu, I went to browse around dell, hp and asus laptop and found that vivobook s15 has really nice finishing to its laptop exterior compare to others. Should I go for this laptop? I found there is an Asus gaming laptop at this price but without ssd. I am not using it for gaming but only office work, browsing, slight editing only.

Should I go for Dell? Looking at Inspiron with 15'6

No weight concern, display 15'6, battery no concern also most of the time will be connected to plug

Criteria for the laptop:
mainly for online download and browsing,
no gaming,
doing some words documents and
battery can last longer,
IPS screen, matte,  14 inches,
weight below 2kg,
budget below RM2500.
ram  at least 4gb,
Seldom carry around, just sit on the desk most of the time.

Main factors are weight (slim/portable) , battery life & not sluggish ( so atleast 8gb ram & i5 ?)
