Hi. I just bought HP Pavilion - 15-cs0033tx. Need to upgrade the SSD and RAM right? SSD i got one new which bought last year (SanDisk SSD Plus 240GB SSD (520MB/s - SDSSDA-240G-G25) ). This SSD suits right? The SSD is just for OS?

For the RAM, should i replace the existing 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM or keep the existing but add in another 4GB in another RAM slot? Sorry for my noob question as i never upgrade RAM before but i read somewhere if mixing the RAM sometimes it may not works.

May i know the SSD just for install OS right? Movies, Documents, Programs all can be installed at HDD?

If so, i think 120GB is enough for me as i can put my things in HDD instead SSD. Budget less than RM200 for 120GB and RM350 for 240GB.

Is 11" budget laptop like Asus vivobook E203M or Acer Aspire 3 A311 good enough for internet browsing, youtube, office works and casual gaming? I want to buy 11" laptop to replace my 6 years old netbook

After looking around awhile, I found a few models which I would like some suggestions on.
Please note that I am considering the i5-8250U for all these models. And I am going to upgrade to 8gb ram for those 4gb models. I will also swap out HDD and insert my spare SSD.
I am mainly concern about heat (temperature issues? I scare kena overheat) , battery life, screen quality and brightness. I am ok with the weight of these models.

Originally I found HP Omen 15 (2018) which has impressive specs for the price? , but the weight is VERY heavy , so I crossed that off my list.

Actually i will put a lot of movies in my laptop so i guess i should put them in HDD as SDD has low storage. So i thinking to use SSD to install only OS and HDD to put movies. Is that possible?

Ok bro. Any recommendation for 240-256GB SSD? One of the forumer bought same laptop and he told me the stock RAM is 2666Mhz ( i5 8250u only supports 2400 though) but the website published 2400Mhz instead. Let say the stock RAM is 2666Mhz, should i get 2666 or 2400Mhz?

i suggest you get the latest a485 with the ryzen 5 pro. the model is using the same model like the t480 but the amd comes with better cpu.

i do not aware of any ryzen 5 pro problems, did you have reviewed one?

First post here despite lurking for many years. Does anyone know when exactly the rest of the new HP Envy 13 range will be available?
So far only 2 models - 8th Gen i5 and i7 with the MX150 GPU are available and both are in Silver    But I saw the Pale Gold models
on display in Singapore and it is absolutely beautiful. Just got tired of talking to HP Malaysia as they either tell you it's launching end
AUG / early SEP or we have no idea the next moment.

Aesthetic reasons, bro - I know I'm being lame but I like the new design cues better. Less sharp edges and it looks much
more refined. Tried out the display unit in S'pore - fit and build quality is better and the full HD screen is slightly brighter
compared to the current AD series. The Spectre x360 is also another option I'm looking at - need to get a work notebook
soon to replace my old Vostro 14 ..
