Kindly need recommendation for Gaming Laptop

1. Preferred brand : Illegear (Specifically Z7)

Already did some research but I cant gather much information about this brand and their reputation. Is there any specific reason not to buy or need to buy from them?

2. Budget : 7k below

3. Usage : Heavy Gaming, Heavy browsing

4. Screen Size : strictly 17"

5. Other:

-Excellent after-sale services
-gtx1060
-16gb ram

Remarks:

- I can wait for 2-3 month to make the purchase as my current laptop working well. Should I wait for 8th gen?

- Currently Illegear having massive sale with 256gb ssd free. end 31st March (Main reason Im rooting for Illegear Z7).

-Second choice MSI GE73VR (But cost more than Illegear)

Hi guys, I've been a desktop user since the beginning of time with barely any laptop experience. My last laptop was a 2013 Macbook which has been gathering dust for the last 3+ years and the one before that was a Fujitsu lappie that went with me to uni back in 2002. Looking to get a cheapish laptop that'll be used for mostly work and a bit of gaming thrown in.

3. Usage : Work (word processing), internet browsing with a bit of gaming thrown in (Civ 5, Ark, CS:GO - graphics can be potato quality)

Is it worth to pay extra RM300 for smaller SDD and graphic memory but plus 1TB HDD?
My requirements: office work, statistics works, NO GAMES, long batery life and portable.

Source? That Vostro also has a poor TN panel. Buy model not brand, every brand has good and bad models. Not every 15 inch laptop is heavy, depends on model too. Poor Wifi connection is probably due to wireless card speed not driver, maybe it only supports wireless N which limits max internet speed (56Mbps if not mistaken) or 1x1 antenna causes line drops in far distance.

What's your budget? You can also consider:
1. Lenovo Yoga 520 14 with 8250U, 940MX GDDR5 and 256GB SSD. 4GB RAM needs upgrade. 2 in 1.
2. HP Probook 430/440 G5 with 8250U. 4GB RAM needs upgrade as well as SSD upgrade for the 500GB HDD.
3. Lenovo Ideapad 320s 14 (not to be confused with 320s 13) with 8250U and 920MX GDDR5. 4GB RAM needs upgrade as well as SSD upgrade for the 1TB HDD.

The best choice I think is the new Acer Spin 5 13 with 8250U, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It has one of the best display among all <RM3500 laptops with KBL-R CPU. Hi all sifu. Can you suggest me suitable laptop for me?

If external hdd, means everytime I use the PC, I need to connect the ext hdd to the pc via USB and work every time.. a bit inconvenient (sometime forget to take out), but do able

I wonder cloud storage app like OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox able to sync to ext hdd?

Mediocre build quality and OKish thermals. Plus poor TN panel (94% sRGB is just a marketing). Personally I'll avoid.

Also Y520 for 1050TI laptops.
