QUOTE(I_am_Mushi_90 @ Aug 28 2018, 09:42 PM) Thanks for the reply. I noticed that many laptops will experience 100% disk usage when running ( including my brother & me) , do u know what are the causes? I read some user reviews of HP PAVILION 15-CS0033TX also faced this issue. you can google the steps for the 100% disk usage (deleting BTIS, WIndows search and etc etc), my Thinkpad also have the same problem but after i try to delete the above it works like charm

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Aug 29 2018, 08:43 PM) Oh boy, not many choices. Any thoughts of Thunderobot 911 Air? Not the exact specs I wanted, but the price to specs and size ratio seems okay. Haven't heard of that brand before though, not sure how reliable it is and the cooling too..

Hi all sifu, I would like to ask how good HP Omen 15 is. I'm looking to upgrade my laptop from the old Y50 and heard many recommend this model. I don't have much good experience with HP laptops so I'm wary about buying this brand.
Mostly using it to play FF14.

No info on that (it's a Quanta barebone), but cooling will probably be mediocre looking at the internal images

What's your budget? Preferred max weight and minimum battery life?

Also not more than 2.5kg and 2.6cm thick?

I don't have any preference for weight and battery life because I use it mostly plugged in. My only requirement is having a RGB keyboard aside from having a machine that can run smoothly on high setting for most games. I was checking out Illegear Raven and Onyx, and there are quite a few users already having many issues one month in. Which makes me think these models aren't exactly top quality for that price. That and the keyboard design makes typing hard (an issue because my job requires a lot of reporting).

If you want high settings in most games then you have to get 1060 GPU which can be tricky to find a decent model below 5k. Can try out Level51 W15 Lite with i5 8400 Those issues are mainly related to firmware/BIOS which isn't a bad problem IMO. I believe that it just that TongFang is a relatively new ODM. The build quality and cooling are good.
