Not sure about your other models, but your VX3276-2K-mhd has some workmanship flaw.

The top left and right metal ( or alloy?) borders are jutting out like some rushed installation with no proper QC. You can evidently see that the screws at the bottom half is not secured properly which caused the whole alignment to be out.

Thought i got a lemon unit but after exchanging another new one with the dealer (whom is very kind), i got the exact same issue again. Other than the aesthetics issue, the monitor works fine...for now.

You guys at Viewsonic really have to buck up on that area.

Edit: just noticed couple pages back that someone else also having the same issue. Backlight bleed happened to mine as well but not as severe, it could be due to the imperfect border installation which applied unnecessary force to the sides creating the backlight bleeds.
This further confirms the issue with your QC or manufacturing fault. It's not a very pleasant thing to get when u splurged 1.2k on a brand new device as you expected it to be all shiny and perfect out of the box *twice*.

indeed. just collected mine moments ago.

as mentioned previously, workmanship is absolutely incomparable to Dell. Side bezel got imperfection & the stand joint quality is questionable.

But it's still quite good looking & 2k reso at this price, need to live with those cons.

For no offense, this price with 2K 32 size...you cant find anywhere....
and need to live with some minor con due to its price...

but i suggest you run the RMA to get a complete no 'bug' monitor...
if you start using and meet problem..that was 'bugged'

For the true story. and logical.
There just cant get superior quality with that price.
but quality need to be improve from time to time.

But whos meet problem, just DO the RMA...they them figure out how many unit that 'passed' from QC.

Thank for you guys to choose ViewSonic VX3276-2K! Can @ReaperX and @tungfunglaw PM us contact information, so we can further action on the case gap issue?

To other ViewSonic customers or potential VX3276-2K customers, please feel relieved about the product quality. We checked on service record for this model, ViewSonic had sold more than thousand units in Malaysia, for the cases return to service centre, though the % is less than 0.5%. ViewSonic still pay high attention on this. Quality product and seamless service is always the top priority for us.

@tungfunglaw, we will also check the light bleed issue when we receive your unit in service center.

Hi,

Do you have the light bleeding issue with room light on?
I am using same model at my office, so far cant notice issue as you have.

Yes, only not so noticeable compares to light off.

It seems is a 50/50 chance of getting such issue.
