Hate Dot Matrix Printer, what is the substitute, Substitute for Dot Matrix, Epson or HP?

I hate using Dot Matrix printer. It is expensive and not stable. So I am thinking of getting a inkjet or laserjet for invoice printing.
Which brand/ model has the lowest cost per print? Preferably with scanning function and network connection. |
