Go to your insurance company and tell them you have sold the car and want to cancel the insurance. Simple.

Certainly. You may get the e-Auto form from the used car dealer and visit the insurance panel to request for refund.

When you sold your car to the second hand dealer did you do an ownership transfer? When the transfer is done your road tax is automatically cancelled.

Even if the dealer has taken your thumb print check with JPJ that he has done the transfer. Some dealers love to keep using the previous owner's name after buying the car.

Even the next owner may not mind using the previous owner's name. All the saman and responsibility if the car is used for murder goes to previous owner so why not?
