I didn't have an Astro subscription that's why. Most of apps that I used in this ATV is US region based. That's why I'm using VPN.

guys … any recommendation on which model of sharp tv

Well according to the official spec, 6800 is thicker comapre bk or al model.
And it seem al model so called hdr is doubt to be hdr10..
And al model got a audio prism clear function, compare with bk model.
Not sure hw much priced bk model, i asked local shop, rm2.8k for al, 2.75k for 6800.

i wanna ask what HDR standard does this sharp uses? im in between decision between sharp LC50UA6800X or samsung UA50NU7090KXXM, samsung listed they has HDR10+.

U can google to read hdr, hdr10, hdr10+, hlg, dolby vision, hdr12... what they really mean.

To my knowledge this ua6800x tv is hdr or hdr10, same for al1x, but is hdr hlg for new bk1x.

Hey guys, I had some problem casting chrome from my laptop but this didn't happen if i cast from my desktop.

The tv cast the video from my chrome tab, a few sec later the video stop but the sound keep playing. And when i cast from my phone (s10e) sometimes it tend to pause/stop and i need to open my phone and resume it from there. Any solution?

chrome should work, whether desktop or laptop.

check the internet connection... unstable?

also, do a restart of the TV android under settings - this may clean up, help.

I just found out in tv playstore, there is bbc player app.

If u r unifi ultimate user and yr old STB doesnt hv this bbc player, u can use it on the tv.

Just install app, log in, auto unifi connection detect, no id or pw reqd.

Reasonable vod stuff, hd.

i just got the tv, but online firmware update fail around 60% retry few times d, anyone got link to download usb update method?

Don't try finding some update from some site to update.

Somebody did that once and got stuck totally.

Try again tmr.... sometimes their server down.

Last resort, call sharp service, they will send tech to update.

Hmm damn lame try many times keep getting this after downloaded 100% = the package file is invalid.

Can anyone get chromecast to work? I cant seems to get mine. Enter setting all i see is notes, no settings at all? Is my unit got problem?

to reset, just go to settings, about and restart.

chromecast is built in, always active, no need to do anything.

to mirror any content from android device, u first install "google home" app on the device.
set it up; anytime u enable it, whatever is on the device will mirror on tv.

to cast something, say youtube from phone to tv, u just press the icon on top right on yr phone when playing.
in this case, u are just using the phone as a control, the youtube is coming from the TV.

to cast something from pc windows, u use chrome browser.

all of the above is possible becos of active chromecast in the tv; without it, they will not work.

ahh i see i havent taught of using HOME, i taught casing like those generic miracast, it seems for casing it need to be connected on same wifi router, i having issue with my phone not seeing the tv, cause it was connected via lan cable, hmm gonna try HOME tonight, thanks for sharing.

the devices must be on same network.

miracast is an alternative to chromecast but since u already have chromecast in tv, use it.
