I bought Thai Airways tickets to Tokyo and suddenly saw there is Carbon Offset. What is this ya?
Voluntary Carbon Offset Thai Airways International is committed to taking part in the global effort to minimize aviation industry's impact on the environment. THAI has opted to adopt the IATA-administered carbon offset program, as it is a readily available tool that enables airlines to offer passengers the ability to compensate for their carbon emissions. THAI is proud to introduce the Carbon Offset Proram to passengers who want to offset the carbon dioxide generated from flying. We are pleased to offer you, our passengers, an oppotunity to help the environment through our Carbon Offset Program when you purchase tickets on THAI. When booking flights via our THAI website, you will be able to decide whether you wish to compensate for the CO2 emissions. YOu will be able to see the amount of CO2 emitted for that particulat flight, and see the related cost for the offset. As well, you can view details on where your offset contributions are invested. lease be noted that carbon emissions based on a methodology developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) |

How much pocket money do i need to bring for 2 person 10 days? No fancy/luxury shopping, just food, ticket entrance, maybe some cheap gundam toys, small souvenir. Other than that credit card i guess.

QUOTE(tohff7 @ Oct 31 2018, 10:37 AM) RM6-8k should be more than enough. Assuming big-ticket items like hotels/Shinkansen/Theme Park fees are already paid in advance or via CC Train fares not included because bought the JR Pass for 14 days so minus the train fares. RM6-8k eh, ok ok.Just budget around 2000yen/meal/pax (more than enough for a good meal) and then the rest (like train fares, ticket entrance, etc.) can be Googled |

How is the weather in Tokyo/Osaka now? Cold or just nice without jacket/autumn clothes?
