mooncake ok,
no pork or ciken... especially ba kua, meat jerky

(some country cannot bring seed or flower also)

ps: last time i accidentally bring ba kua, lucky no check

thanks bro for the prompt reply.

btw mooncakes with yolk should be ok too? coz some countries only allow mooncakes without yolk.

Thanks for your reply. Regarding the SIM cards, it’s a bit confusing and hope someone can help me out.

(1) from some travel blogs, they mentioned to get SIM cards from Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) instead of directly from the mobile provider to save cost. Examples of MVNOs are Mobal and Japan Tourism Sim. Any suggestion?

(2) another one I’ve found is Japan Welcome Sim from this website https://wow-j.com/en/sp/sim_wifi/. It looks affordable. Has anyone tried it?

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply and link. As I’m going for 10 days, I have only 2 choices and the Japan Unicom seems to be cheaper then the NTT Docomo. Have you used Unicom before? Is the network reliable?

personally I used NTT Docomo and the network is very reliable & strong across Japan. not sure about Unicom though.
