Seat selected doesn’t mean they are checked in - so I don’t see a concern here. Actually I was able to select seats prior to online check in too, but that was before JAL migrated their system to Amadeus. Post-migration I was not able to manage my booking till online check-in opens.It seems i cant do web check in for my flight with JAL, the flight is tomorrow.
