[quote=fun_feng,Apr 16 2018, 03:40 PM] Hi, I am just back from Japan trip. I use a bus from Tokyo station to Lake Kawaguchiko using https://japanbusonline.com/en/CourseSearch/11500410001Actually I stay at Akihabara, it's just 2 subway station away from Tokyo station thanks for the reply. when you were at tokyo station, was it difficult to find the bus that you have to board? Was everything manageable? any apparent problem one might have to face when trying to board a bus there? This post has been edited by morningmorning: Apr 17 2018, 08:10 AM

QUOTE(domo_kun @ Apr 17 2018, 08:21 AM) I had a close call 2 years ago. I didn't realize I'm supposed to book the tickets in advanced. I was ignorant, my fault. When I got at the station, all tickets sold out. I was put on hold, awaiting for other passengers whom may FFK. Luckily, there was one FFK, and I managed to get a ticket, then. Otherwise, I would have to wait for the next bus, which still, I'll be in the waiting list. The moment I step out from the bus in Kawaguchiko, I headed straight to the counter and purchased a ticket back to Tokyo. A self reminder, though, always book tickets in advanced. Thanks man. Im trying to find a service provider that can give me the least headache, since im not able to speak japanese nor understand it. Online booking can be done, but I hope I wont face any problem trying to board the bus.

QUOTE(Belphegor @ Apr 17 2018, 10:24 AM) I booked mine last year with this website. It allows me to book and reserve but pay on the counter. So you can book a few, by judging or predict the weather on the day you want to go. Only cost JPY3500 for return journey from Shinjuku Station to Kawaguchiko Station, whole journey takes about 2 hour+-. The bus journey was rather relaxing. My gf and I get to nap during the ride, and I believe many of us hate those reckless bus drivers who jam break or suddenly speeds up. Thanks . Booking seems like the go-to option if your plan is subjected to the weather.

Hello guys. Referring to the malaysian custom link here, http://www.customs.gov.my/en/ip/Pages/ip_pbft.aspxthere are many criteria for items that are allowed to be brought into the country tax-free. Example point 1.1, - only 1 new pair of shoes are allowed to be brought into the country tax-free. Do u guys detach all of the tax-free receipts off your passports before reaching KLIA, or would that be too obvious?

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Apr 17 2018, 01:43 PM) detach it at japan airport customs before boarding. from your experience the officers were not suspicious that you did not buy any tax-free item coming back from tokyo?
