i manage to did a day trip to Fushimi Inari > Uji > Nara > Kyoto
i started off really early tho, 6am++
Spent around 2hrs at Fushimi Inari, spent around 2hrs in Uji (Byodoin & Furitsu Uji Park), then rest Nara (Kofuku-ji, Todai-ji Daibutsu, Todai-ji Nigatsudo, Temukeyama Hachiman-gu n Katsuga Taisha)
but it was tiring at end.

Consider going for those omakase / sushi course sushi places ba. It's not technically "all you can eat," but a lot of these places really feed you a LOT of food.
Plus the quality is a huge step up from kaitenzushi stuff.

Example: Mantenzushi Marunouchi (blogwh0re alert) where 6500y buys you 25 sushi/sashimi/other food items. My personal view is that it's amazing value and affordable for the quality and quantity of stuff that you get.

Hi guys, if I have the JR pass already, for the shinkansen trip from Tokyo to Kyoto and back, should I buy beforehand the tickets? Or I can just buy on the spot...?
I will be using it early to mid April
*
u can book em early or even when u trying to exchange ur JR pass on Japan itself.
it doesnt matter if the date u choose to active is not on current date. as long u r travelling within the active date, u can book it 1st.
just book it n secure a better seat, window seat facing Mt Fuji.

Found 900+ available on the date. Actually the whole November is around 900+

some flight only manage til 6 months prior, hence u cant certain cheap flight on it for now. u can try search it again when its within that date n see.

u can try switch around date n u will notice some flight company wont show up on later date.

Sounds like fun. But you didn't remark on the bear sign. Does it mean you encounter one before? tongue.gif
Yes. Super important to book in advanced. If all the bus passengers were there, no one FFK at all, I'll end up sleeping on the streets. LOL.

As for the Cup Noodle museum, I heard there's an area where you can make your own cup noodle with the ingredients you want, seal it off and take it home. When you're back, can make the cup noodle biggrin.gif that's one of the thing that made me wanna go.

Where else did you visit in Yokohama? The Red Brick Warehouse?

There's the Akaikutsu Loop Bus that looks interesting. Did you get the round pass/ ticket to ride it? My intended places in Yokohama are:

Cup Noodles Museum
Kirin Beer Factory Tour
Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
Minatonomieruoka Park 港の見える丘公園
Yamashita Park's Waterfront Walkway
Osanbashi Pier <3

*
U can deco ur cup noodle. as long u pay 500yen, u can have as many cup noodle u can hold.

Red Brick warehouse- good place to take pic of Osanbashi Pier, but inside is like every shopping complex. just hope there is event outside.

Yamashita Park has Marine tower.
