Yea, just hit kyoto first, then stay at osaka until end of your trip, easier for you to get back to Kansai Airport in early morning or late night.

what is your itinerary like? if you are not going anywhere far from the main city or not taking shinkansen, then its better to not take that pass.

if you are taking ANA from KL...there’s a transit at either Narita or Haneda and then fly to Itami airport

and that makes it domestic flight

Itami Airport are Domestic airport, no immigration check, only have safety security check [for Departure only]
Q at morning & afternoon rush hour are alot people. Itami > Haneda route are super busy
IF you say arrival Itami, it just disembark from aircraft, go baggage claim section, and exit the airport.

My 3rd day in Osaka now.

Weather great.
So far covered Kuromon Wet Market. Enjoyed half  lobster and scallops for breakfast. Delicious and packed even in morning.
Then to Kobe for wagyu beef for lunch.
Visited Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium
Visited Nara Deer Park and feed the deers.
Visited Dotombori. Jam packed with people.

Bit of advise, wear walking shoe as more comfortable when going up and down the subway train staircase.

For your knowledge, Osaka Itami Airport doesn't have any immigration clearance. 

Took me almost 40 minutes to clear the immigration last week. 9.25pm touch down, 9.40 out from the plane,  10.20 collect luggage and outta airport d.

Checked with ANA. Immigration is defenitely Narita. If you have check-in baggage, mostly probably you just claim it at Itami.

I actually wanna ask, what other things can I do if my travel member gets sick during the trip? We have tried for medications from pharmacy but it doesn’t works.

Anyway it’s my day 4 here in Kansai. Morning so cold in Nara, Osaka is a bit warmer (maybe because in middle of city, or maybe I woke up very late ) Weather have been ever so lovely since Monday.

Do you have any recommendations on where to stay at Osaka? I maybe going Osaka on ~10-20August for a competition, still haven't finalized details but based on past year the event is usually held at Nishinari Kumin Center.
Is there any similar restaurant like that in Osaka?
