Tsukiji market closed on wednesday in case you wanted to go into the inner market.
Outer market I guess still open though.
But outer market nowadays is like a tourist market / attraction sia.

Thanks for the info! The inner market u refer to is the auction place?

Divided into 3 places:-

1. Auction area
2. Inner market - aka the real market where they sell in bulk or do serious business (I heard that u need to buy only allow to go in cant simply go in wonder around)
3. Outer market - more for tourist, eateries and small bulk.

End of Nov or early Dec18, which place suggest to visit ?

Budget for spending is below 4-5k per person

Does take package + local travel more economic ?

Never been to Japan and travel alone

What kind of question is this? Japan is so big. Decide where you like then only plan from there.

Budget for spending is below 4-5k per person
4-5k per person for how long?

Does take package + local travel more economic ?
Both quite similar, its not the cost that decides whether u go for tour or plan your own itinerary, its whether u like planning own itinerary that customised to own requirement or no time to plan then just take tour.

Plan things yourself and you can decide which spot u wanna spend more time and which spot u wanna skip. Go with tour save you the hassle to do all the homework but also fix all your timetable.

On your Lake Kawaguchiko trip, what bus are you taking??

https://highway-buses.jp/course/kawaguchiko-onedaytrip.php
You could actually take a bus to ShimoYoshida bus stop then walk to Chureito Pagoda, then take the train to Kawaguchiko Station later..

I have not gone yet, but this is what I plan to..

Matta fair this weekend, anyone knows whether any chance of any tour agent selling cheaper tickets for USJ, Osaka Amazing Pass, Harukas Observatory, Kaiyukan aquarium etc?

Plan to purchase them through Klook instead of won't have much difference.

Thanks for your info. I was planning to take bus from Tokyo station to Kawaguchiko station and then take train to Chureito Pagoda. This was recommended by my friend.

https://japanbusonline.com/en/CourseSearch/11500410001

But now seem your highway bus is more convenience and easily reach Chureito Pagoda. thumbup.gif

You can carry as much milk powder as you want. Its not anything that is prohibited. What you need to think of is water. You can ask for hot water from the plane but then you will read articles claiming that water in the plane are not really clean. You can actually put hot water in a flask and bring it to the plane. I have tried in HK and Tokyo airport without any issue when I go through security check since I have a small kid. As for milk, you can a case that is sold in Jusco where you can separate the how many feedings you want. THe one I have have 4 compartments for each bottle.
