Thanks for helping out guys! I'll contact my Airbnb host closer to the date.
I can only read and write hiragana so it's quite hard to understand the kanji and katakana in Google Maps Japan. |

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Mar 2 2018, 12:08 PM) Looks decent. Do note that Kiyomizu Dera is currently undergoing renovation: https://kyoto.travel/en/latest_news/63If there's time, you can also visit Nishiki market which is not too far off the Nijo Castle. It closes around 5 or 6pm: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3931.html |

Your "not overly priced" is at the budget of how much? Btw you can read page 1's first post - there is a recommended 14-days kansai trip itinerary by RC. Check out Day 9 of his itinerary. |

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Mar 2 2018, 12:08 PM) Logistics wise, maybe doing Ginkakuji-Kinkakuji-Yasaki Shrine in this order is a bit weird. My suggestion -Wednesday - Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Tenryu-ji Temple, Kinkakuji, Nijo Castle Thursday - start with Fushimi Inari Taisha, then move up to Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizudera, Ginkakuji P/S: As far as I can remember, there's not much restaurants around Ginkakuji and Kinkakuji |

QUOTE(midnightsunray @ Feb 24 2018, 01:00 PM) That's a good deal. You can also try ANA and JAL to get the full Japanese experience. On ANA and JAL they serve bento boxes that are really good. I got my tickets via ANA two years ago for RM1.5k per pax. My upcoming trip via JAL is RM1.9k which I felt is expensive but at that time it was cheaper than ANA. hi =) wanna ask probably when is ANA and japan airline promo? tqANA's in-flight service is impeccable. The air stewardess are not only friendly but pretty as well (FYI I'm a straight girl) XD |

Fushimi Inari can be done early morning or late evening, where there’s much lesser crowd and you can take the ‘must-have’ photos at ease.I put Fushimi Inari Taisha at end of the day because its near to train station and have food there for dinner |
