yeah. we booked the ticket first. May have been greedy at first. now after reading, realize wont be able to cover all the places in both area. So might be targeting a few places we want to visit.

and this happens to be one of the places my wife and I wanna go. Is it really moving already? Or has it been delayed?  cry.gif  cry.gif

Think they are moving the market where fresh fish are sold and tuna auction are conducted (i.e the inner part)

All the restaurants in outer part should remain

found new info after some googling here. not sure if this is accurate or not. Maybe still go chance to visit the historical fish market in full.

quoting from https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3021.html

"IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The inner market of Tsukiji Market is scheduled to close on October 6, 2018 and move to a new site in Toyosu where it will reopen as Toyosu Market on October 11. Tsukiji's outer market will remain in business beyond October 2018. More details..."

What does it matter what other people's experiences are? What matters is your own data usage pattern mah. If you gonna stream 4k video for a few hours a day on the train in the daytime then go to hotel backup your entire day's raw videos and photos to the cloud at night then of course it won't be enough. If you just whatsapp and Google maps then more than enough.

Having said that, my last Japan trip I used 2.2gb in 8days (phone only).

For all we know, Wawasan 2020 time still haven't moved lol, the move has been delayed so many times liao.

Anyway the outer market confirm remain. Whether the popularity of the market will still be there after the inner market moves ... it's anybody's guess.

Inner market the market itself will confirm move.

What doesn't seem confirmed is the row of shops in the inner market (the ones selling knives, pots n plates, etc, and the famous sushi shops). In my last trip in Feb I asked the plates and bowls shopkeeper, he mentioned that a lot of things are still not clear, that it seems like his shop will probably move but don't know move to where, etc.

Hi Thanks. I don't plan to rush through my trip. Just wondering how long does it take to cover these places based on the daily itinerary. The day with the shortest or can be completed half day I choose that day as the day I travel from Tokyo to Kyoto (via shinkaisen)

Kyoto Day 1
-Fushimi Inari
-Nishiki Market
-Daimaru Kyoto Store
-Nijo Castle & Kyoto Imperial Palace (Optional if got time)

Kyoto Day 2

Kyoto Day 3
-Hanamikoji Dori
-Gion Area (Shirakawa Canal, Gion Tatsumi Bridge, Gion Shinbashi District, Yasaka Shirne, Maruyama Park, Ishibe Valley)
-Kiyomizu-Dera

Thanks.

The itinerary is good and not really packed. You’ll have enough time to enjoy those places

you can cover these places at your own pace. since you're travelling from tokyo to kyoto, i think you can travel overnight from 1 city to another so you don't really need a half day. but it all depends on what you really want to see first. so for those 3 days just stick to it as 3 days activity.

These Japanese really take their theme park seriously lol.

Park open at 9am, straight go in then just camp at strategic place for 3.00pm parade

Using it since 7am and battery depleted around 3pm. 2 ppl connecting.

They don’t normally provide USB C cable but you can ask them when you collect the device from them

Don't book these things last minute. If you're based in KL, there's still another hope. Contact H.I.S. office. Their WIFI is at RM15/ day rental. If you can drop by their office in Bukit Bintang to collect, you can still make it to rent. But you have to contact them ASAP to book a unit: https://www.his.com.my/

Alamak.
I purchased with Visondata. RM20 per day for unlimited. But if more than 10 days got 20% discount. So its RM180.

When you start active it.

The pass it self have expiry date, 1 months didn't active it, it will automatic become useless.
