Summary:

- Keyword= "Reboot"
- Meterless Guard Impact and Soul Charge returns
- Critical Edges now can be done with one button (probably like Tekken7?)
- New Reversal Edge; functions like SF4's focus which when it connects triggers a slowmo Rock,Paper,Scissors mechanic.
- New Characters + returning Characters. CAS and guests also confirmed.
- Currrently 70% complete.

Not sure about the single button specials, but I'm liking what I'm seeing here so far.

Yeah, probably to test the network all around. From the options you can challenge random players from your own region or from all regions. Only 16 characters available for the beta but Tira is one of them who happens to be DLC only.

Is it me or they did increase the boob sizes significantly?

when other fighting game genre like DOA is moving away from the fan service, seems SC will still be exploiting it more

Played some beta, liked and hated it - as was expected of online. When it's 4 bars, it's really not bad - definitely better than 4 bars tekken.

Sucks that the beta was only available on consoles - too many wifi warriors.

Anyone had any Idea why there's still no Pre-order available in Malaysia PSN store? Are they skipping it?
US, HK, JPN had them listed for pre-order but nothing shows up here, release date is close, i wonder should i get a Hong Kong copy or wait longer

For some reason is still isnt in the PS store..

Anyway Im pretty disappointed with this business practice of DLC characters, make me quite reluctant to buy. Especially when they told such an obvious lie regarding Tira lol.

That comment was one week ago. Anyway I got the game, the gameplay is good, online is a blast, but the CaS parts is very lacking. Probably them holding back, then selling us recycled material from SCV.

I bought the regular edition, season pass seems like not worth it, because we still do not know yet who is the rest of the DLC character. Personally I want Setsuka and Cassandra.

For real. They've finally give us 100 slots for CaS and then they skimped on CaS parts lol. Also, Automaton race can only use 1 face... urgh.

so hows your take on single player mode apart from customization?

The story mode is okay I guess, a little bit of story, although there is no cutscene.

Libra of Soul is just text and fight which Im fine with, the problem is there is no reward in completing this mode. For example, they can have us progressively unlock CaS parts while playing. As of now, I find it hard to continue playing this mode before being distracted back to online mode, since there is no incentive except for trophies.

Story: Covers the events post SC1 into SC2, so main players are Kilik, Maxi, and Xianghua. The rest are side stories. Mostly told through voiced over static portraits and background images. I guess it's better than SCV's storyboards? Sieg,Azwel notably has no Story mission because I dunno

Libra: Gets kinda boring when you know you're not unlocking anything, and the gold conversion rate into Soul Points (5000Gold for 100SP is bullshit, especially with the load times before every events/fights)

Arcade: 8matches SCV style, no character endings

If you like reading, then SC6 is your heaven; there's loads of materials in the museum that probably covers ALL things Soulcalibur.
