earlier this month, i attempted to book a ride on grab, i got a quote of RM449

is this surge pricing?

i switched to uber, and got the ride for RM15.47

You chose the 6 seater option, hence price range is different.

Uber ride was also for XL.

I do agree price range can be different, but 20x difference is too much... i'm guessing this must be surge pricing, thus wanted to confirm it. though i'm kinda surprise as at that time, it wasn't rush hour and uber's price was reasonable
