I'm thinking of getting a new phone. And i realised that a few people has recommended me the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The phone being close to 2 Years since the release date. Is the phone still fairing well against it's competitors? I want a phone that would last a couple of years and have a good camera!

Well I've been using my S7 Edge since it was first launched in Malaysia. So far it's working fine for me. Camera is still quite comparable to this year's flagship models. Btw what is your budget for a smartphone and do you have any other requirements other than good camera?

My budget is below Rm2k. But i found a S7 Edge 128gb for Rm2.1k.

Requirements are Good Camera, Good Screen and Build quality. Maybe i could settle for the newer J7 Pro

If you're happy with the specs of J7, go for it. Although S7 Edge is miles apart from J7

I used S7E till now, still very good for me..

I am getting s7 edge 32gb cause why need bigger internal memory when u can expand the memory

But would you still recommend i get it at 2018?

Getting it today. I need a phone with better camera and bigger storage. I am currently using s6. Plus point here is that it's water resistance

well s7 edge with 128gb sounds good right for RM2199

hardware wise not much different than note FE and it cost around 2100-2400

s7edge is a very good phone for that price

I'm just a casual user. Planning to get a phone that would last me for some time. S7 Edge being the best phone for 2016 means something for me. And plus UAG produces cases for the S7 Edge which is another plus point for me.

I would get a Oneplus 5 or 5T instead.

My budget is Rm2k. that phone is like Rm2.5k

Bro shop on QOO10, you can get Note FE for RM1,950. Within your budget and it is 2016 flagship (if it didn't explode then)
