Hello there! Hope you're doing well. I wanted to share with you a game platform that a good number of Malaysians, Filipinos, and Singaporeans should be fairly familiar with, but maybe some of you have not heard of it yet.
Are you familiar with Habbo? Habbo Hotel is a virtual hotel that allows you to dress up as a character, make new friends, play games, build rooms, and much much more, all on the same "hotel". Habbo requires players to purchase credits, which are the main currency required to purchase furniture, clothes, and other items from the catalogue provided. In the last few years, developers have created Habbo retros, which are similar versions to Habbo that are free and allow you to earn credits and other currency without needing to purchase them.
I've been playing a specific Habbo retro for a while now, known as Hablush Hotel. Here's a bit of information about Hablush:
About Hablush
Hablush started in 24th March 2017 by owners Liam and Kay. They wanted to a start a new experience for users who want to have fun, play and create events, as well as to get noticed. The hotel peaks at around 50+ users daily. You start with 250 credits and 500 duckets. Every 30 minutes you will receive 50 credits, 100 duckets, and 1 diamond.
Hablush Democracy
The Hablush community plays a major role in all of our decisions concerning the hotel. Everyone gets a say in what is going on in the hotel. We’re a hotel based on the communities endeavors to help us expand it's appeal, so everyone has a hand in shaping the hotel. We have amazing staff members who are fully trained, meaning the hotel has active and hardworking staff members to help users like you at all times! While playing the hotel, we make sure that many events are being hosted to ensure that the users are having fun at all times, so we make sure we have some staff members to help to manage this.
What makes Hablush unique?
The most difficult aspect of a retro is trying to be unique and stand apart from other retros, this is difficult because of the overuse of similar CMS's and emulators. We will not brag about any minor changes, but we emphasise on the difference in control and the atmosphere we will offer to any new user willing to try Hablush. We offer a hotel that is completely run by the user's opinions and suggestions.

This could possibly be a very different community that some of you may not be familiar with, and that's okay. I would urge you to try it out and see whether you like it or not. In a less competitive environment that allows for relaxed, laidback bonding with other players from around the world, this could be a new kind of platform that you could enjoy.
Our largest audiences are from the UK and US. I'm trying to promote our Asian/Australian market as we have low numbers of players that are active during this timezone.
Here are some pictures of the CMS and client:
Me Page
This is the landing "Me" page on the CMS. You can view a lot of things on the CMS, ranging from specific details about the community, news articles published by staff to notify you of upcoming notices, stats, and other personal account management settings.
Leaderboards
The leaderboards page shows you which users lead in certain categories.
Catalogue
Here is the in-client catalogue. The catalogue is constantly being updated to provide users with the newest furniture and items to purchase.
Welcome Lounge
This is the welcome room that most new users are directed to when they first enter the hotel. It is usually more lively than what it looks like.
Rooftop
The rooftop public room.
Tic Tac Toe
This is one of a myriad of games that you can play on Hablush. Using special wired tools that give the furniture or items specific commands to perform when a condition is met, users can participate in games to compete with each other. Staff can host events to reward rare prizes (usually furniture that can't be bought from the normal catalogue, and tend to be pricey) as well as Gamer of the Week points (points awarded to users which can accumulate to you being in the running for winning a weekly community event, one of them being GOTW).
There are a lot of weekly events hosted by the administration staff that are posted through the news articles on the CMS. We've got all kinds of competitions, including:
Room of the Week (ROTW) - you build a room based on a certain theme the administrator specifies. Top three rooms built win.
Casino of the Week (COTW) - same concept as ROTW, but in the case of Casinos.
Outfit of the Week (OOTW) - the administrator specifies a theme, and users come up with outfits that coincide with the theme.
Gamer of the Week (GOTW) - user who earns the most GOTW points from events hosted by staff win a special prize.
WTFriday - a classic Habbo tradition, this weekly event involves users having the opportunity to ask staff either a personal question, or a question for the entire staff team. The staff answer them. Users whose questions are featured will get a prize, while enjoying the entertainment provided from the answers from staff.
That might be a lot of information, so feel free to contact me or reply to this thread if you have any other questions or comments. Please, no hate. This is just a game I wanted to bring to your attention - some of you may like it, some of you may not. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say it. I welcome constructive feedback or questions of any kind.
Feel free to come online and meet us. Register at Hablush Hotel
