Cheesiest motherboard ever....worst than the purple one with blinking lights from ECS about 2 years back. Stupid heatpipes serve no purpose, probably have rubbish airflow characteristics and will probably impede the installation of heatsinks.

the loops means that it has more surface area per space, and more surface area = more heat dissipation. And look at the boxlike design enclosing the proc area, you CAN put a massive heatsink. And the reason it loops it that way is because it can use the air coming vertically to dissipate heat faster.
IMO, the design is good enough Added on April 26, 2007, 11:42 pm QUOTE(CherylDarryl @ Apr 26 2007, 11:41 PM) It's an LGA 775 mobo. look at the board lor dudeThis post has been edited by linkinstreet: Apr 26 2007, 11:42 PM |

MSI should design it more proper so that it won't be fussy when plug in da 8-pins cpu power supply plug IMO, the design is good enough |

have you tested the motheboard yourself and see it obstructs? and does the term "engineering sample" means anything?

I wonder which part is cooking hot.. |

QUOTE(kucalana @ Apr 27 2007, 02:51 AM) 3000MHz of FSB? dun think so...this is still d early stage of DDR3 platform, thought u might get FSB over 2GHz, but not breaking da 3GHz barrier yet 2 break FSB 3GHz, maybe wait till DDR3 1600 n greater |
