depends. i compare both, but shopee is like a mini taobao.. can find alot of china stuff there.
if item more than rm100, lazada is better coz got voucher usually and cashback
i only deal with shopee cs once, i bought a belt and seller send me wrong size. i confirm receive the order before checking item, seller ignore my messages.
i contact their cs and few days later full amount refund directly through bank transfer. they warn me next time must confirm everything is fine before clicking received.
(i am used to taobao where you still can apply for after sales even if you already confirm receive)

what i like about shopee personally is they seems to always use poslaju, which is convenient to me because both of pos laju local branch is near to my office.
i still check both religiously before buying anything though. 

Can ask for reverse pick up for bulky items.

I buy item 1k to 5k online no issue. The keywords here are to buy from a reputated seller with high rating not which the cheapest of all.

I got cheated once by shopee. Their system not as good as lazada.
If item below 50 I use shopee above 50 I use lazada, 11street qoo10

Shoppe system not like lazada shipping they will sms and email you, delivered will also sms and email you

If u are not at home they will call you and if fail their automated will call you..

Shopee only notify through app if u didn't monitor it eventually it will just release to seller

So the postlaju hand me the parcel,

I am about to take my 2.5k cash, to hand to him..

And suddenly, he said paid already..

I was like shocked because when I felt the parcel I am certain it is the smartphone..

And I said oh okay..

Went home, and OMFG...

They chase me a few times then later their automated system called me to arrange another delivery time.

Shopee item was delivered to someone else I do not know. Shopee ask me to settle with seller at the end seller said delivered so shopee cs wasn't helpful enough.

Lazada I ordered pvc wallpaper from taobao but only 3 delivered. I complaint on Sunday on Monday someone called me to follow up, yesterday someone email from cross border team.

Their follow up is quite good at least some action is taken. Now waiting for them to revert.

pay twice.

I think now the best way to get PGC is to buy 3 RM50 LGC use code LZVGEN10
Then use LGC to buy PGC, after discount PGC = RM88 per piece.

I just bought a RM100 Lazada GC which was already OOS for a few days.

But I found Lazada GC are not working today for any items including Petronas GC.

Normally Lazada GC can be used for Petronas GC.
But unfortunately, Lazada is having a maintenance right now, you cannot exercise using any Lazada GC.
So you cannot use LGC for Pet GC at this moment.

Unusable for items other that PGC?
