Any tips for iphone x battery? Usage around 6 hrs from 100% to 3-5%. Saw lots of user reported higher than this. Is turning off background app refresh helps to improve battery life?

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 16 2018, 10:20 AM) Turn off facebook and whatsapp. Confirm battery life improves. You mean the backgound app refresh for these two apps? Will I still be able receive whatspp notifications? QUOTE(Uchiha_Itachi1991 @ Jan 16 2018, 10:46 AM) I usually can get at least 8 hours of proper usage from 100%-10% at around 30% brightness on cellular data... Did you ever optimize any setting? I did turning off background app refresh or switching to wifi based refresh, disable most product-improvement based location services, disable raise to wake, disable offload unused apps, disable share iphone analytics. Basically, I did what youtubers suggested in improving IOS 11's battery life but to no avail.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 16 2018, 01:46 PM) No. Turn both apps off or log out your account. Basically its these two apps that are draining your battery. If you want good battery life, so you have to turn them off and only turn them on when you want to use it. I dont do it because 1 charge can basically last me a whole day. Post your battery stats here. We will see from there. So your settings are as default the time you set up as a new phone right? I guess I might need to use it for some time to see if the battery improves.
