QUOTE(vickyrao @ Jan 4 2018, 01:54 PM) What you can do is call Apple Care. Talk to them about your issue. if they also say that you need to pay and fix, then ask them to escalate your case to higher level which means they will escalate to australia. Then when that happens, talk to them nicely and talk to them to give you a replacement for free... be nice and talk nicely... it can be done. ive done it before for cracked screen. so good luck. yes yes! please call apple care.like I said before, I bought IP6 plus from digi, few weeks later, suddenly my IP6 got hairline crack. Bring the device to digi and digi straight refuse to replace said screen crack is not cover for warranty So I call apple care and explain that my phone got hairline crack, then apple care email me official letter ask digi to replace my device. |

QUOTE(maserati @ Jan 15 2018, 08:26 AM) OK another new development on my phone. I used waze yesterday and force-closed the app after i was done with it to ensure it won't be running in the background. Charged my phone to full before I slept yesterday and this morning it drained almost 20%. When I checked the battery usage, waze took up about 40% of it due to "BACKGROUND ACTIVITY" for me waze and facebook eating my battery. damn dont know what they do in backgroundWaddahell. Before this it was the stupid mail app. I had no choice but to uninstall it and use the Gmail app instead. Problem solved. Now even waze is acting up. The hell are apple developers doing??? I've never had so many problems on an iphone before having used so many generations of their phones. |

QUOTE(maserati @ Jan 15 2018, 11:03 AM) Just have a look at the battery usage stats and see if there are any anomalies. If there aren't any, the battery would not drain unnecessarily. really? I should try itMy location services are normally turned off unless I use waze. I get what you mean but my point is that since this isn't happening on my 7 plus with the exact same settings, why should it be happening on the x. I've uninstalled and reinstalled waze this morning. Launched the app and forced close the thing again. So far so good. |
