Wow, isn't it IP67 certified? How did it get damaged, and what exactly is wrong with it, can't power on?

Shouldn't there be a case for warranty claim? IPx7 is supposed to protect your device against the effect of immersion between 15cm and 1m for 30 minutes. If your phone was submerged to a depth within the IPx7 depth and duration limits, it means the water sealing would have failed somewhere.

For a more accurate description, the IEC states that a 7 rating ensures ingress of water in harmful quantity shall not be possible when the enclosure is immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to 1m of submersion) and guarantees protection for up to 30 minutes.

I think main issue here is the warranty wouldn't cover for any water damage related issues, they wouldn't want to know how you used it, whether is it on surface water or deep into the pool, they just wont be responsible over any water damage...

u should not tell like that.... u must build up the story a bit and make reference to their ads which is misleading to you... then play sympathy abit
