Well. It is true. The new iphone will be coming out later this year and the X will be discontinued as usual for every iphone lifecycle.

Even if Apple stops production of certain models, there could still be a whole lot of stocks in the warehouse waiting to be sold.

TBH after having face ID since the launch of the IPhone X, I am so used to it already that I dont want to go back to touch ID. Face ID is so much faster, efficient. You will be looking at the screen anyway so its a great way to unlock your phone. If on android, you should try the face id on Oneplus 5T. It is lightning fast, faster than the face id on the Iphone X and without the need to swipe up to unlock.

For Face ID, I would prefer the Face ID on the OP5T anytime over the Iphone X as per stated reasons.

When the OnePlus 6 comes out.

I could agree to that as IOS doesnt come with AOD, so you have to wake your phone to view messages or notifications.

Well, its a feature that will utilize battery juice. Quite inveitable if you would like to have it.

I actually prefer the "raise to wake" display rather than AOD. Saves quite a bit on battery consumption.

It not only looks cool, but its a great feature to have to check on time and other notifications without the need to touch or wake the phone.

Get a Samsung watch. Works just as fine.

I think Apple should make it available with the option of turning it off. Some people would really like to have it.

Do you guys turn on airplane mode? Given the phone constantly maintains network and data connections while apps run in the background waiting for data to come in and out, there should not be 0% battery drain during a 8 hour sleep.

Then your battery spoiled already. Too many charge lifecycles already and had become cranky. Battery meter also rosak.

When you wake your phone in the morning, suddenly the battery drains 4-5 % in a while right?
