Actually what is this AOD all about? Seems like an interesting feature on the new Samsung phones but will it also be introduced to iOS soon? biggrin.gif

And from this image I found on Google Search, it lets the clock and date be permanently shown on the screen when the phone is on standby... But won't this drain the battery? sad.gif

Some OS or anything is designed to have this feature. Yes it drain battery, but very minimal. There is no rumor talking it will be made available for iPhone yet. But maybe in the future, who knows. smile.gif

Yea, so far, I am coming from android, yes iPhone is the best phone I have so far. Been using iPhone 6s+ and iPhone 7 previously.
Agreed on the above smile.gif But I love iOS, as long as it has longer battery life, less laggy(currently, dont feel any lags since i buy), then its perfect.

I too came from Android and this is my first ios as daily driver. Overall it's very hard for me to say which I prefer coz each one of them have it's pros and cons. Some feature are available in android and not ios, and vice versa.

Yea bro, the struggle of picking which one is the best is hard. As both phone not operating the same OS tongue.gif but for me, I will put iPhone first, as I never own any high end android phone as of now.

The AOD moves around the display and will not cause any burn in. It will if it stay put in a fixed position. I had yet to read of anyone having burn in issues on latest Samsung having AOD selected

It not only looks cool, but its a great feature to have to check on time and other notifications without the need to touch or wake the phone.

Yeah my wife’s s8+ has this AOD thing. It’s cool but not critical for me since my phone is usually in my pants pocket.

An Apple Watch would be handy for me, to quickly show time and notifications. The price though..
