Wanna ask, does us model phone have warranty in msia? Or is it restricted to region? Was planning to buy from US as the rate is cheaper.

Last 2 months I asked Apple on chat(got a copy of email as evidence) and called twice to Apple toll free, was told by 3 diff ppl US is covered under Apple Malaysia warranty means Apple reseller service center will collect in Mys in the event any problem. But remember, get Verizon unlock iPhone as it gets Qualcomm modem, you will regret if you were to get Intel modem in US when there's option there to choose from.

If you need insurance, chat with Apple online and get a copy of the chat to your email.

I've got no issues with my local iPhone X GPS. Everything is perfect. Location is accurate using Waze, Google Maps or even Pokemon Go.

That's very interesting claim you have, you confirm you are A1901 modem? Does Intel modem has different revision that solve the GPS issue? Talking through 4 intel modem my wife and I own so far, I am pretty sure it is not accurate, it is horrible actually. I have spent an hour with Apple support, not helping at all, will be interested to know how you don't see that. Google map is far the worst working with Intel Modem.

Probably we are testing at different area as well, in Penang, most area we can tell is out of synced, I experience with 7+ in KL on both our phones, total lost!

On my iPhones, 5S, 6S and X, i usually get going the opposite directions on my Waze in KL, PJ, PEN & SG regardless of my privacy setting except 6S. I have to set it to “Always” instead of “While Using the App” otherwise I don’t have GPS connection. I would say it works for me most of time.

When you say get the opposite directions means it is wrongly shown in your map? You car on wrong direction of where your car should be in the map? I set always for both Google maps and Waze, doesn't really help.

That's not a claim that I'm making. It's a fact. I've got no such issues at all with GPS. Everything is working perfectly fine as expected of a GPS. Probably you got a lemon. I believe I would know better whether mine is accurate or not?

It is good to know any of you with Intel modem can get good GPS reception. I can blame my car tint for attenuate the signal but that's not my experience with Qualcomm modem, even my friends(5-6 that I know with Intel modem) either playing pokemon or navigation confirm my claim. Ya I am getting particular on this esp this is my 2nd year suffering this.

anyone notice iphone X GSP accuracy is poor when you are using data only without wifi?
when i open app like uber or google map the location showing is not accurate.
any suggestion on how to fix this issue?

Sell off your iPhone X and get one from HK or US that comes with Qualcomm, basically Intel GPS is inaccurate.

If buy US or HK set confirm can get Qualcomm modem? Or they also having Intel for some stocks as well...

HK only Qualcomm, you can ask the seller to show you the back of the box which should have A1865. For US, must get from Verizon sim free, guess you can tell from the back of the box either A1865(qualcomm) or A1901(intel). I have seen 11street selling 256GB at RM5399 from HK set, not sure about now.
