QUOTE(KingRyan @ Jan 11 2018, 03:48 PM) I've got no issues with my local iPhone X GPS. Everything is perfect. Location is accurate using Waze, Google Maps or even Pokemon Go. That's very interesting claim you have, you confirm you are A1901 modem? Does Intel modem has different revision that solve the GPS issue? Talking through 4 intel modem my wife and I own so far, I am pretty sure it is not accurate, it is horrible actually. I have spent an hour with Apple support, not helping at all, will be interested to know how you don't see that. Google map is far the worst working with Intel Modem.Probably we are testing at different area as well, in Penang, most area we can tell is out of synced, I experience with 7+ in KL on both our phones, total lost! On my iPhones, 5S, 6S and X, i usually get going the opposite directions on my Waze in KL, PJ, PEN & SG regardless of my privacy setting except 6S. I have to set it to “Always” instead of “While Using the App” otherwise I don’t have GPS connection. I would say it works for me most of time.

That's not a claim that I'm making. It's a fact. I've got no such issues at all with GPS. Everything is working perfectly fine as expected of a GPS. Probably you got a lemon. I believe I would know better whether mine is accurate or not?Probably we are testing at different area as well, in Penang, most area we can tell is out of synced, I experience with 7+ in KL on both our phones, total lost! |

When you say get the opposite directions means it is wrongly shown in your map? You car on wrong direction of where your car should be in the map? I set always for both Google maps and Waze, doesn't really help. |

I can blame my car tint for attenuate the signal but that's not my experience with Qualcomm modem, even my friends(5-6 that I know with Intel modem) either playing pokemon or navigation confirm my claim. Ya I am getting particular on this esp this is my 2nd year suffering this. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 12 2018, 08:47 AM) Is it true you need to be in Spore for at least 3 days before the GST refund is accepted?? Read this somewhere on the web before. AFAIK, answer is no... i have been there for 2 days 1 night few times, and claimed GST when departing from Changi, but is few years agohttps://www.customs.gov.sg/individuals/goin...t-refund-scheme http://www.visitsingapore.com/travel-guide...gst-tax-refund/ This post has been edited by vez: Jan 12 2018, 11:34 AM |

I have an ipx (local set, intel modem?) and ip6 (local set, qualcomm modem?).Maybe I am not so observant but I've used both for Waze and GMap navigation in Klang Valley and Penang with no major difference in locational accuracy. |

I noticed it always give me problems on roads when it’s 3 or more lanes on each side (6 or 8 lanes carriage) I’ll be heading south but it will show north. |

Not sure about that, I'm usually there for longer than that QUOTE(realitec @ Jan 12 2018, 08:03 AM) Yea good idea to purchase at Changi airpor Except sometimes the dealer there is out of stock then you don't get what you want and no chance to keep looking coz you are departing already |

QUOTE(choyawe @ Jan 3 2018, 10:11 AM) i've just applied for HLB cards at the branch yesterday, the branch staff has confirmed that balance transfer is no longer required. If I manage to get my cards approved, just buy the ipx from Maxis and charge the monthly billing to that card. HSBC is also offering the same but is RM400 compared to HLB RM500. If everything goes well then i will be getting my ipx at only RM2500+! Wow. So it means the offer still valid. You had to go for the 2 cards or their so called preimiere card which is one card |

Just came back from Mac studio. They tell me the HODA v2 tempered glass still have some dust getting in the sensor. Can those using it now confirm?
I am using another thing which they claim no such dust trap issue - Zerone. Will monitor. |
