QUOTE(yclam5729 @ Jan 11 2018, 09:08 AM) Morning, anyone using iPhone X with Intel GPS find frustrating using Google maps or Waze? You will find your car at wrong road or wrong direction, and keep on re-routing? Try to swap out your telco sim with sim from other telco and see if there is improvement.

QUOTE(Luwk @ Jan 11 2018, 11:31 AM) I think you might get from any platform online for yourself. To fast charge the Ipx will need another but not this charger FYI Been looking at aukey type c charger... if not wrong 4+V. I have seen on youtube that is cheaper option compared to the mac charger. Im now wondering will it work on my iphone 6s?

I doubt it is going to help, it is the GPS hardware inside that's not accurate, US customers already confirm return its iPhone X Intel chip and bought a Qualcomm chip improve significantly. I had both my iPhone X and iPad Pro on Maxis sim card, iPad Pro on Qualcomm is so much stable and accurate. I felt of selling my X and get a new one from US or HK.

Not sure if its due to Intel chip too, my GPS tends to be damn inaccurate, very hassle when using waze at kampung area with many junctions, the phone like detected me off 100m like that! Made me missed many junctions

Made me missed many junctions I am 100% sure it is due to the GPS chip, suffered whole year with 7+, my previous iPhones never suffer such problem and can't believe 2nd gen of Intel GPS still sucks! https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8189221

Wanna ask, does us model phone have warranty in msia? Or is it restricted to region? Was planning to buy from US as the rate is cheaper.

I'm just sharing my experience and it really works. Also make sure under Settings>Privacy>Location Services are turned on for those specific apps you are using.

Last 2 months I asked Apple on chat(got a copy of email as evidence) and called twice to Apple toll free, was told by 3 diff ppl US is covered under Apple Malaysia warranty means Apple reseller service center will collect in Mys in the event any problem. But remember, get Verizon unlock iPhone as it gets Qualcomm modem, you will regret if you were to get Intel modem in US when there's option there to choose from. If you need insurance, chat with Apple online and get a copy of the chat to your email.

This is so terrible for a 5899 priced phone My 2nd phone which always use for navigation (redmi note 4 using qualcomm snapdragon 625, not sure using what gps chip) is far more accurate than this X! RM800 phone vs RM5899 Guess Apple dont want us to use iX for navigation to prevent OLED burn

Cannot get a mew two yet But to relate back to this, GPS is damn accurate even indoors in shopping malls. One Utama not so good but MV/Gardens perfect.
