The cards which were bought during 11.11 will expire on 31 Dec 17. Others will be expire after a year. It was clearly stated in the terms and conditions during the sales. So why worry?

12.12 only state card expiry. Nothing on the discounted value.

Card will expire in Jan 2018. Get a new Gift card and top up if you want.

Not sure about the old card and transfer of credit between cards. I think the old card will die.
But you can buy a new Giftcard at some Petronas stations, use the new card to top up.
There is a promotion, Get a Shopee-Petronas Giftcard at station and you will get a RM5 shopee voucher.

tak habis2 petronas card... finish only buy new one la.....4 cards shud be able to tahan about a month depending on usage ...buat apa nak hoard like 10-20 cards
