long time since our last posting .
here's one of our quite recent project.

Major job is top cutting for the 3x 120mm Radiator.

Water cool for CPU & GPU.

E6600 @ 3.6ghz stable

8800GTS 320mb

I luv this roomy case, the top still has plenty of room for additional mod to house harddrive brackets 10harddrives confirm no problem but ..this job just for normal gaming & 2x harddrives.

However, i'm unable to post a super long list of around 20++ images of our work in progress thus, u may have to click on the other link for even more detailed pictures & contents.

Good fun modding this one. Especially the case, being the grandfather of Aluminium casing !! Lian Li PC-71

grandfather of aluminium casing
Lianli PC-71 full tower. so roomy inside, infact interior is bit more spactious than the bit too common TJ-07 we've setup nowadays.

mark out the radgrill's cutting area

rotary tool cutting, dont ask me why i dont use jigsaw.
i'm better with rotary tool as more detailed cutting is required for tight corners

cut out. b4 we file to more precise shape.

Those mini heatsinks are cute tongue.gif
Mind to share where you got them?

I like the purple colour for the wc.
Also like the space you have behind the mobo to hide all the wires.

Good idea for the CCFL.
And a good case too.

the back of casing with the extra extra extra lot of cables from the silverstone fan controller & temp monitor, psu cables, chasis front intake fan cables, etc.

done with some wire management. if u've better ideas how to manage the wires coming from every direction then pls tell me ... if not cable tie is the best solution.

8800GTS

ceramique applied on gpu core. not fully spread out yet anyway.
user posted image

this is the super hot memory controller. is this called memory controller ?
user posted image

8800GTS 320mb pci-e vga card
ramsinks on the memory & a custom sized heatsink for the additional memory controller.
user posted image

i couldn't get something with more fins, and so this is the best i can find.
thick base, though lesser fins.
user posted image

here i slap on plenty of mini heatsink on every possible hot chips as this entry level P5NE-SLI Asus mobo doesn't come with heatpipe design like the more expensive models.

user posted image

mini heatsinks all around ..
user posted image

additional 60mm fan on the nortbridge heatsink. NB gets super hot !
user posted image

Front sidepanel open for clearer view.
Sidepanel was custom shape cut & not yet ready at that point of time.
user posted image

really luv the top view myself. the radgrill has big gaps, excellent exhaust for the chasis & radiator.
