W810i is a great phone.just add another rm50 or so im sure you won't regret it.or if you prefer nokia then the 6300 would be good too.classy phone.

Hi , I'm looking to get a backup phone for travelling.
I need it to be small and sleek , robust (durable) , and long lasting (excellent battery performance). It doesn't need to be full of features just a basic phone that can call and message will do. Colour screen is preferable.

I was eyeing the nokia 6100 since it fits most of my needs. But i have heard different comments on its battery performance. Some says it's good but some say it's the worst.

I really hope to get some honest suggestion and opinion from fellow lowyat members.

the nokia 1 series is are pretty durable phones.just that it doesnt have colourscreen.but you can get a new set for below rm200 else the nokia 3110 classic aint bad too.

the SE k800i if you want a good cameraphone or a W850i if you want a Walkman phone

anyone bought Motorola W209? its a budget phone but izzit good?

overall, it's a good phone.

advantages
- great camera with a great xenon flash
- simple user interface
- no lag

disadvantages
- some people may not like the design of it
- m2 cards are tad expensive

The designs are nice.. why people will not like it?

By the way, for the m2 card, buy sandisk and it's way cheaper.. 13x for sandisk 2gb now..

they somehow do not like the buldge at the back. i think the phone is sexy though.

it will only have joystick problems if you have a defective unit or use it very roughly

if you dont mind missing the few extra features and cosmetic change in the k810 then just go ahead with the k800i.they're essentially the same phone.
