 maxis zerolution, need explanation

i have been talking to 3 different customer service live chat and they all end the sessions coz they cant answer me. seriously lousy service.

i am currently on MaxisOne plan 188 and the contract will end next year July. according to the customer service, i will be able to sign up Zerolution plan using same number in April.

but one thing i dont understand is, if i sign up in April, my plan will still be MaxisOne plan 188? so my bill will bcome RM188 + Zerolution device price?

if i wan to sign up different plan with zerolution and with same number, i would need to wait till my contract end in July?

Hi chinti,

Apology for such inconvenience experience occurred.

Coming to your inquiry, user with existing Zerolution package is allow to upgrade to a new zerolution package or normal contract package one (1) month earlier than its mature date. This scenario apply to users whom do not opt for zerolution upgrade and users will need to fulfil 23 months tenure.

Should you wish to upgrade, you have options to pick your preferred device bundles under the same mobile number. Not necessary for you to maintain MaxisONE plan 188 during the upgrade and it still depends on your selections.

From your selection, you can do the monthly calculations including the monthly rateplan fees and GST 6%.

oh since i am on normal contract now, meaning i will be able to sign up for zerolution package under the same number in June which is one month before my contract end. and during that time i will be able to select any other plan together with the zerolution

HI chinti,

If you are under normal contract package, you can upgrade four (4) months early from the mature date.

At that point of time, you can either go for our zerolution or normal device package and also any plan that bundles with the device selection under the same mobile number.
