If it faulty and in warranty period they will change FOC.
If it faulty and NO longer have warranty they will either renew your contract you get it for free or you pay for it |

dlink wbr2300 is definitely more than 2 years old, and the warranty for your router is definitely over unless you just renewed your contract
Yes you can ask TM to replace your router but you will be charged for that Just buy a 3rd party router of your own, but make sure it's fully compatible with UniFi |

If you 'accidentally' used the wrong adapter for the router and it got burnt, you could replace one if still under warranty if you know what I mean

Just buy your own router. They will change to the TP-Link AC1200 or DLink DIR850L, both of which is okay but not good.. |

QUOTE(gedebe @ Dec 17 2017, 04:16 PM) Yes, see below for zher4883 explanation. DLink is okay, but too many vulnerabilities have been found in their low to mid end routers.QUOTE(zher4883 @ Dec 17 2017, 04:44 PM) He's not suggesting D-Link as a whole is not good but rather D-Link had too many product especially in the low to mid end routers that are worse than competitors. Cheers for the explanation bro. |

Those days, using a modem for streamyx users from dlink may seems superior and if you want more superiority, Aztech modem is the better option. Nowadays, after so many competitors ruling the market, now DLINK lost its magic. Personally i was DLINK fanboy during streamyx era. Not sure why DLINK have bad reputation nowadays with their low end routers vulnerability. I hope DLINK may come with the best product for their low end product purchased by the customers. The awesome thing is, TP-Link now coming up with an affordable router and some of their low end product's firmware were awesome like archer c5 although the small bro of c5, c1200 has the worst firmware of all.
