I just want to Share with u all regarding Extended warranty for my Sony Z5 premium dual

i already send my sony 4 time to service center (2 during 1 year sony warranty and another 2 during extended warranty)

All need to change motherboard

At first i thought that 2 years extended warranty mean the warranty will cover for two years and under sony BUT the two years actually under AEON.

AND most important thinsg you need to know are:
1. warranty not cover for waterproof and battery
2. there is a limit how much you can repair

In my case, i exceed my limit already. Need to change motherboard again for the 4th time and credit limit only have 1.3k and total cost repair around 1.5k. So there are two option given to me by Ixsun Service center:

1. topup the differences (around rm 200)
2. u can select different model (Sony Only) and Aeon will use all the credit limit to buy the new phone
(ex : i have 1.3k credit limit left and i choose new sony phone cost 1.5k. Just topup the differences to get the new phone)

For me, i choose the second option HOWEVER they still need to contact AEON first to get their approval.

So now, im waiting for their decision

TODAY Lesson --> 2 years extended warranty is not exactly two years however it is good to have this extended warranty in case your motherboard always die like mine


UPDATE AGAIN TODAY --> they agreed to topup model. So i choose xperia xa1 plus and no need to pay anything (though burn rm80 since limit is higher than phone price )

AND het one more year warranty under sony ( not extended) since it is a new phone

Wow 4 motherboard changes in 2 years? Even the cheapest Xiaomis don't need that. Such awful quality

yeay, even my 4 years oneplus 1 and my mi max never give any problem
