 Hotlink data charges problem

Perhaps it is normal for every user of this old Hotlink plan? The same thing happened to me as my credit was reducing bit by bit even though my data was off. The Hotlink Customer lady on the phone cannot give any reason on this. I even went to the extent to complained to MCMC but there is insufficient evidence to suggest that Hotlink is stealing customers' data so no action was taken.

The missing credit or unnecessary charging of data does not happen with the new Hotlink Plan (Hotlink Fast). I am on this plan for about 5 or 6 months now but there are some disadvantages with this plan too. Well, nothing is perfect.

Perhaps Hotlink wants all users to upgrade to the new Hotlink Fast plan by causing all this nuisance to users that are still on the old Hotlink plan.

the old hotlink plan is best paired with an old phone, such the good old nokia. smartphone leaks data too easily.

You can surely report. I've put in the report earlier last year. As I mentioned earlier, there is no clear evidence on Hotlink's part so no action was taken. An email from MCMC(SKMM) will be sent to you on the outcome or their investigation result to close the case about 1+ month from the date you open it. Before that, you might receive a call from a Hotlink officer asking you on the problems you are facing, just like I did. Most likely it won't help with anything.

This problem is not the phone, and my cell phone is used local,
my home area is no have 4G line, when use the data is very too slow,
so I did not to buy data pass.

Hotlink,

Perhaps is time for Hotlink to up the data/mth on RM30 /month, instead keep advising customers / users to paying extras.

Basically I have upgraded to Hotlink Fast. I know the problem is not your phone or the settings. It's the plan. Since i upgraded to Hotlink Fast, all this nuisance of additional charges and your credit missing bit by bit every week did not happen anymore.

You can try putting in your case to SKMM(MCMC) and see for yourself if it will help in any way. During my time when I complained on this matter, there is no monthly statement whatsoever, not a single trace of evidence for me to present to SKMM. Since you now have the monthly statement with the Red apps, perhaps chances are higher for you to gain something if you put your case in?
