QUOTE(attw @ Dec 27 2017, 02:34 PM) Yeah but Machines and Switch are both Apple authorised resellers, so no difference buying from either outlet. Directd is not an Apple authorised reseller, as i checked on Apple website. My question was is there any difference buying from non-authorised and authorised reseller if both are selling MY units. |

QUOTE(dikae @ Dec 27 2017, 03:04 PM) we answered you, theres no difference in buying from unauthorized like directd vs authorized like machines mac city etc...coz if you're getting MY set its from apple store Malaysia (unless they sell you Telco set and categorize it as MY), you can always check with them.... btw why buy from directd? cheaper? Noted, thanks. I was just clarifying my question to the other forummer. As I mentioned above, it's slightly cheaper at Directd now as they are having a year end sale until 2 Jan 2018. |

QUOTE(Scissorshand @ Dec 27 2017, 10:18 PM) Prices at Directd now are cheaper by RM250-RM350 (depending on model) than at Apple online, Switch, Machines, and other retailers. Their prices are valid until 2 Jan 2018 due to year end sales. You can see everything at Directd's website.Lazada is slightly cheaper than Directd but they are currently out of stock. Currently looking for a case. I like clear cases and have a soft spot for Ringke Fusion, which I'm using on my iPhone 6s Plus. Clear cases tend to turn yellow over time but Ringke Fusion does not discolour. However, I read review that using Ringke Fusion on iPhone 8 plus results in watermark at the back. Anyone has any experience on this? What does it look like?

QUOTE(dikae @ Jan 4 2018, 10:22 PM) Hmm now that u mention....seems like yea more saturated than previous models...did u compare them side by side to see the diff? Erm no sold the 6s plus already lol, should have done a side by side. My opinion on saturation is based on what I expect from an iPhone la, not really objective comparisons XD. |

Hey guys, how much space does 'System' use on your iphone? I see System now takes about 10.38GB on my phone. I swear minutes before that the phone showed that 12GB space is being used by System.
I'm not running low on storage as I'm using 256GB model. Just wondering whether it's normal, seems a bit high to me. This post has been edited by un.deux.trois: Jan 6 2018, 02:49 PM |

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Jan 13 2018, 06:09 PM) I don't really care about battery drain during standby anymore, as longs as it isn't dropping to much. Usually overnight 8 hours will drop around 3-4% with data and wifi on, IF the battery is not at 100%. Same here. I used to obsessively check on my battery performance when I started using my last iphone lol.One of the reason I move from Android to ios is so that I don't have to worry about battery drain during standby, and then figuring out what the cause. Too much things to do Nowadays I don't care anymore unless something is significantly wrong. I just charge the phone at any opportunity I have. |

QUOTE(krishtiano86 @ Jan 18 2018, 05:45 PM) So guys. I like Chrome but I think Chrome is not optimised enough on iOS because it keeps reloading if I switch between tabs unlike Safari. Safari can keep many tabs in memory without having to refresh or reload.Which is your preferred browser on iOS? Safari? Chrome? FireFox? Others? Let's discuss the pros and cons |

Upgraded to 12.0.1 this morning. I actually didn’t notice any significant battery drain when I upgraded to from 11 to 12.
I always try to charge whenever I get the opportunity anyway so it doesn’t bother me that much. |

QUOTE(sayming @ Mar 17 2021, 03:12 PM) Anyone still rocking an iPhone 8 (non plus) in 2021? Hows the performance and battery life holding up? Still as good as day 1 like I bought it back in Dec 2017😌. I have changed the battery once when the capacity dropped to 83%.This post has been edited by un.deux.trois: Mar 26 2021, 12:03 AM |

QUOTE(sayming @ Jul 18 2021, 03:33 PM) I have just looked at the battery statistics. SOT is 7 hours 35 minutes and the battery capacity is 90% now. The battery capacity has degraded faster since the end of last year when I started using the fast charging port at my laptop to charge the iPhone.I have never really paid attention to SOT. I always charge my phone whenever I’m near a charger. This post has been edited by un.deux.trois: Jul 18 2021, 04:13 PM |
