Just a note in case you're not buying with cash but prefer installments:

Lazada max installment is 12 month with Maybank credit card

11street max installment is 24 month with Maybank and 36 month with public bank credit cards.

One benefit with buying from lazada and 11street, they don't have extra handling fee, as oppose to if you buy from Harvey Norman, sen heng, Senq where they charge you 4% or rm27 to rm90.

Yeap, lazada only can do installment with Maybank credit cards unfortunately.

What’s the likelihood Apple will adjust iPhone 8/X pricing in Malaysia? At current pricing just makes me scared to buy one and then few weeks later Apple drops the price. Sure feel regret.

iPhone 8 $699 = RM2723 + 6% GST
iPhone 8 Plus $799 = RM3113 + 6% GST
iPhone X = $999 = RM3893 + 6% GST

Do you have "night shift" mode turned on? if yes, try turning it off.

Also try turning off "true tone". That could be the reason. Many complain it makes the screen yellower than normal.

Maybe because the official price difference between X and 8 is about RM2000. Also, i think regular consumer is willing to pay about RM3000 for a phone but not willing to go any higher than that. At RM5000, rather buy a Macbook than an iPhone X

I remember a time when Macbook Air was ~Rm2,899 by official Apple store. This was pre-GST and pre_ringgit depreciation days.

Yeap you can check their website too. SenQ and Senheng actually same shop. iPhone 8 Plus around rm3899 and if you're a member you get 1 year extra warranty. Also can do installment up to 36 months.

Better than being bonded with telco for two years.

One thing I like iPhone over Android is the responsiveness. It's just so fast. My 5s and 6 feels faster than newer Android phones.
